People don’t celebrate Halloween for many different reasons. Sometimes it’s for religious reasons, not to judge or anything, but I know that some Christians believe that Halloween is actually worshipping the devil. For other people it may be that in their country/culture they just don’t celebrate it. And then some people just don’t like Halloween and don’t celebrate the holiday. For me, I love Halloween. It’s one of my favorite holidays.
Calm down. Hocus Pocus What it’s supposed to be is the Eve of the All Hallows, which doesn’t mean what it does in the Potterverse. It’s a Christian holiday, which is the Eve of All Saints, which, in medieval Irish logic, means the night of the Damned Souls. It doesn’t take away your Brownie points if you don’t go out. Or give treats. In my building, no one does a thing, although I’ve given out cookies as a kind of reverse
trick or treat
I have always loved and will always love Halloween, but some people think that Halloween is evil because of monsters, witches, vampires, werewolves, zombies, skeletons, Michael Myers, Jason Voorhees, Freddy Krueger, etc. Some people might ridiculously be kind of jealous that themselves weren’t born near Halloween, weren’t born in October or weren’t born in Autumn. I was born on October 21, 1982, so I was born 10 days before Halloween.
