We’ve all been through so much collectively and it’s tempting to gloss over it all so we can get to the 10 years 2011-2021 little mix signature thank you for the memories shirt and I will buy this good stuff, that being the hope and promise of 2021. But I feel like because of how much we’ve been through, the loss, the pain, the deep uncertainty, the fear, it feels that much more important that we take time to pause and reflect on all of the transitions and triumphs we experienced in 2020. Once we take a good look at that stuff and reconcile with those things, we can truly begin to enter this new horizon without a lot of the baggage and sadness from the previous year. I’m still getting clear on what exactly [my 2021 mantra] is going to be, but I know that it’ll have something to do with continuing to go as much in the direction of what scares me as I do with what gives me pleasure. I want 2021 to be the year where I boldly prove all of my fears and their accompanying imposter syndromes wrong, knowing that it may not feel good in the process of doing that but it will ultimately provide lasting pleasure in the long run.
